Within a month, the "Mohammed bin Rashid Library" attracted more than 40,000 visitors and members of different ages and nationalities, who viewed the library's facilities, services and its various libraries, and read more than 14,000 books in various disciplines.
During this period, the library witnessed the reservation of more than 34,000 tickets to visit the library, and more than 3,000 tickets to visit the ammunition exhibition, while the number of requests from the automated store reached about 1,000 requests.
According to the latest statistics on the number of hours each visitor and member spend inside the different libraries, the number of hours ranged between two and five hours, while the ages of the visitors ranged between five and 60 years of different nationalities.
The Periodicals Library, Children's Library, Youth Library, Emirates Library, and Public Library came at the forefront of the most visited libraries, and during the period of visitors' stay in its corridors for reading and viewing, followed by the Arts Library, Business Library, and Map and Atlas Library.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazrouei, said, "The great success of (the Mohammed bin Rashid Library) in attracting this number of visitors and members, during this short period, represents a realistic embodiment of the success of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed. Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in supporting and strengthening the country’s comprehensive strategy in the cultural and knowledge sector, and enriching the intellectual, creative and knowledge scene in the Arab world.
