At first, Qiao Jianxin was not familiar with community work.

In 2015, when he came to the Dingbeili community and faced a similar situation, he relaxed and firmly believed that he would be able to "work it out" - he knew that the railway community could be renovated within a few years, and the Dingbeili community could do the same. Once, when he drove to the station to pick up people, there was a traffic jam on the road, and the taillights of the vehicles in front were flashing red, forming a "red line", which reminded Qiao Jianxin of "red ribbons" - like a flag, connecting the masses in Together, go forward hand in hand.

Zero complaints during the renovation of the old community
In 2019, two old communities, Jinxing Community and Cultural and Educational Community, under the jurisdiction of Dingbeili Community, began construction and renovation, involving more than 970 households, nearly 1,600 residents, and 7 property rights units.

Some residents objected to laying small bricks in the square, and felt that the flowers and plants growing out of the mesh would affect pedestrians' walking. Qiao Jianxin tried every means to discuss it with the construction team; someone suggested repairing the gate, and Qiao Jianxin also fought with the construction team; the small public square in the middle of the community used to be piled up. When the machinery was broken, it was Qiao Jianxin who led people to clean up the square.
Some people set up a shed on the first floor to store household clutter; some people plant green vegetables in flower beds and erect vines.
