Recently, the introduction of doctors in Shaoyang University has aroused social concern.
In this regard, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government attached great importance to it, and the Provincial Department of Education immediately established an investigation team stationed in the college to investigate.
After investigation, Shaoyang College did not scientifically formulate a teaching staff construction plan based on the actual development of the college, and there were improper practices in the introduction of doctoral talents.
In this process, the party committee of the college has insufficient demonstration, unscientific decision-making, and unrigorous work. Comrade Peng Xilin, secretary of the party committee, has the main leadership responsibility.
The Provincial Department of Education has instructed Shaoyang College to correct the inappropriate practices.
The Provincial Party Committee has given Comrade Peng Xilin dismissal.
