In Rennes, Brittany, during the 25th edition of the Mythos festival, Hortense Volle met the very groovy keyboardist, singer and composer Hervé Salters, alias General Elektriks.

Portrait of a crazy lover of synthesizers and funk, the inventor of a sunny, swirling and generous pop.

In Rennes (Brittany), at Mythos, the speaking arts festival, I spoke with the very groovy Franco-English keyboardist, singer and composer Hervé Salters, the soul of General Elektriks.

An adventure launched in 2003 with the album "Cliquety Kliqk" and crowned, in 2009, by the hit

Raid the Radio

.

Thirteen years and 4 albums later, keyboard tinker Hervé Salters remains a fan of patchwork of all kinds, compressing and compressing electro, soul, funk, jazz and hip-hop to weave a solar, swirling and generous pop.

As always with General Elektriks, the messages of its 7th album, "Party Like a Human", stimulate the legs as much as the spirits.

A promise that takes on its full extent live.

Hervé Salters and his acolytes are real stage beasts and I took pleasure in checking it out at Mythos!
