Lawyer for the murdered media, Shaima Gamal, reveals the fact that 10 million pounds were offered to waive

Maha Abu Bakr, the defense lawyer for the journalist Shaima Gamal, who was killed by her husband, the judge and his friend, revealed the truth of what was rumored that a person offered an amount of 10 million pounds, in exchange for dropping the case.

According to the "Cairo 24" website, the lawyer denied what was stated in this regard, stressing that this did not happen, and none of the people offered any money in exchange for giving up the case of the murder of Shaima Gamal.

Some news websites and social media pages reported that Shaima Gamal's mother had received a phone call from an unidentified person, who offered her a sum of 10 million pounds in exchange for her waiver of her daughter's murder case.

It is noteworthy that the Sixth Circuit of the Giza Criminal Court decided yesterday, Wednesday, to postpone the first session of the trial of the accused of killing the anchor, Shaima Gamal, who are Ayman Hajjaj and Hussein Al-Garabli, who are being held in pretrial detention in the case of their accusation of premeditated murder of the anchor, to the next August 13 session.
