For the last week and a half, German politicians in the media have outlined the priorities of this country: on-duty reports from the fields of the Russian operation have been lost in a single topic - Russian gas and what will happen if it is not.

During all this time, the German people were driven with a hammer that:

"Putin turned gas into a weapon" (false);

“Russia, as always, violates contracts” (false);

"Turbine is an excuse to cut supplies, you can do without it" (false);

Nord Stream 1 will not be out of repair” (false);

Nord Stream 2 stopped due to conflict in Ukraine (false).

The most militant idea of local politicians was "Putin will turn off the valve on July 21 - the day the gas pipeline exits from scheduled repairs."

Why?

Because that's exactly what they would do.

But God does not give a horn to a vigorous cow.

Interesting processes unfolded behind the scenes: regarding the “unnecessary turbine” with the distraught Canadians, who decided to make a sanctions product out of it, Burbock, the Minister of Foreign Relations, ran to negotiate.

And with the words “If we don’t get a gas turbine, then we won’t get more gas – and then we won’t be able to provide any support to Ukraine at all, because we will be preoccupied with a popular uprising.”

Literally - Volksaufständen.

The head of the European Commission, von der Leyen, announced a plan for the complete centralization of the distribution of gas reserves in the EU - in the manner of the distribution of conditionally permitted vaccines a little earlier.

She also announced a plan to punish countries that will not enter the austerity regime.

The idea of the State Planning Committee of the USSR is no longer in the air, but materializes at an accelerated pace.

It was the head of the European Commission who stood up against Vladimir Putin's proposal to launch Nord Stream 2, since it is already ready and Europe needs gas.

Her answer: "SP-2 is not certified and is not ready for use at all."

So “not certified”, or “closed because of Ukraine”, or, more precisely, “closed at the request of Biden long before any Ukraine”?

When you lie and get out, it would not be bad to stick to a single version of events.

By July 21, German society has been driven into a narrow narrative by the hands of its wise leaders and the media: if "Putin turned off the valve" - "Russians have always violated contracts", if "Putin opened the valve" - "Putin got scared and is making gas a weapon against Europe."

The narrative is wretched and deeply deceitful.

And today came the terrible day X - July 21.

And at nine in the morning, Handelsblatt released a modest note: “Gas is again flowing through the Nord Stream 1 Baltic gas pipeline.”

The gas flow is now almost 40%, which is almost exactly the level before the maintenance.”

Die Welt cowardly wrote: "Gas is going to Germany again" - and now she is collecting clusters of reader anger:

“Putin has always reliably fulfilled and will fulfill his obligations, unlike others ... Nord Stream 2 must be opened immediately!”;

“If we were injected with conditionally permitted vaccines, why not conditionally allow SP-2?”;

“And no one wants to admit that the Russians stick to what they said before.

And the Russians will also fully fulfill the supplies if Nord Stream 2 is opened.

It seems that Putin's words reached the ears of ordinary Germans, but not politicians.
