On the mythical stage of the Roman theater of Carthage, the characters of Alice in Wonderland follow one another accompanied by the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra.
But with a particularity: the rabbit, the queen or Alice herself all speak in Tunisian dialect.
The very local adaptation of the tale delights the spectators, including many children, like Lina, admiring Alice: “
Her acting was too good, the way she played, I really liked it.
I know the story, but I really liked the comedy.

The return of a historic festival
His mother Hajer is impressed by the quality of this 100% Tunisian production: “
There is a fantastic note, a somewhat traditional, folkloric note.
There is dancing, circus, singing, music
: everything was great.

Samia, who also came with her son, is a regular at the festival: “
Carthage is
something historic
.

The Carthage Festival has a special charm.

The Carthage Festival should be in full swing until the end of August.
