This is another consequence of the persistent heat wave that Marseille has been experiencing for several days.

This Thursday, no less than 3,800 homes in Marseille find themselves without electricity.

Since this morning, 1,800 customers in the city of La Cayolle, in the 9th arrondissement, have had to deal with this power cut.

“A restoration of electricity is expected around 7 p.m.,” promises Enedis in a press release.

In addition, another breakdown due to the heat wave impacts the Chutes-Lavies district, in the 4th arrondissement, and the Diderot and Les Tilleuls districts in the 13th arrondissement.

In these three districts, the 2,000 customers concerned could find electricity again at the end of the evening.
