Saudi Arabia .. Public Security arrests the owner of the video "Insulting the Divine"
Today, Wednesday, the Saudi authorities announced the arrest of a person who appeared in a video clip "insulting the divine" and sparked a wave of anger among Saudis who demanded his arrest through the hashtag "We demand the arrest of Jassar Al-Wadai'i" on Twitter.
A few hours after the spread of the hashtag calling for the arrest of Al-Wadi'i, the Saudi authorities moved and announced his arrest.
The Saudi Public Security said that the police of Dhahran Al-Janoub Governorate in the Asir region "arrested a citizen for insulting the divine being."
She said she had taken the legal measures against him and referred him to the competent authority.
This person appeared in a video full of insults and profanity against the divine, Islamic sanctities and the Saudi people.
The reason why the person did this was not known, but the General Security said that the procedures and inferences he took proved that he "suffers from psychological disorders."
