A second German pilot has also been found dead after a small plane crashed in a lake in Sweden.

The person missing after the accident had now been discovered at the plane wreck and recovered from there, the Swedish police said on Wednesday.

The maritime police had localized the wreck on Tuesday evening with sonar devices at a depth of 26 meters and started diving in Lake Siljan on Wednesday.

The twin-engine amphibious aircraft crashed in the lake about 300 kilometers northwest of Stockholm on Monday.

According to Swedish authorities, there were two German citizens on board.

The two men are said to have practiced taking off and landing on the water.

The first of them was found on Monday, and his death was later confirmed.

He was between 60 and 70 years old, the missing person between 20 and 30.
