At about 11:40 on July 20, Xiaoyi and other towns and villages in Guanyun County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province were affected by a local sudden tornado, and 569 villagers were damaged.
According to preliminary statistics, 21 injured people have been sent to the hospital for treatment. Among them, one died after the rescue failed, and the other was seriously injured.
After the disaster, the Guanyun County Party Committee and County Government attached great importance to it, and immediately launched the emergency response to natural disasters. Emergency, public security, housing construction, power supply, medical and other units rushed to the scene immediately to carry out rescue command, after-care and other work.
