He missed their date and she sued him for $10,000

Kashunty Short, who lives in Michigan, went to district court in 2020 to file a case against a young man who missed her first date, leaving her with scars, she said in the lawsuit.

In 2020, Richard Jordan failed to meet Short for reasons that were not mentioned, which prompted the woman to sue him.

According to the Indy100 website, Short claimed that Jordan did not show up for their appointment, and then missed the birthday of her mother, who had just passed away.

Jordan decided he never wanted to see her again, but considered it unacceptable

And it was a deliberate abuse by him that hurt her emotionally.

During his recent court hearing, Jordan said he thought the case was a waste of the judge's time, and added to the court judge, "To be honest with you, sir, I thought this (case) was going to be thrown away.

We had an appointment, one appointment, and nothing else after that, and now I'm being sued for $10,000.

Frankly, I think this is a waste of your time, sir."

Short, for her part, argued with the judge about the nature of the case, before the latter ordered that the case be transferred to another circuit court, due to its personal and emotional nature.

The claimant now has 56 days to pay the transportation costs or the case will be dismissed.

She aims, among other things, to "teach men a lesson" in not falling behind on their romantic dates.
