Balloon flights resume in Luxor

The Egyptian authorities announced the resumption of the activity of balloons flying over the Pharaonic sites in the tourist city of Luxor in the south of the country, Wednesday, two days after it was suspended due to an accident.

The collision of two balloons left two injured slightly.

The incident prompted the Civil Aviation Authority to dispatch a team of air safety inspectors to Luxor.

The authority decided to suspend the activities of the two companies operating the two balloons that were affected by the accident, and to resume the activity of the flying balloon in Luxor after ensuring the safety of all procedures and the safety of all passengers, according to what was stated in a statement published by the Civil Aviation Authority.
