Abu Dhabi Art: Wait for an exceptional version

The 14th edition of Abu Dhabi Art will kick off on November 16 at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Abu Dhabi Art is organizing its 14th major edition since its launch from 16 to 20 November, at Manarat Al Saadiyat, with record participation from 78 galleries, from 27 countries, and in the presence of prominent artistic figures, within the team of curators and galleries coordinators, including a historian. Arts and Philosophy Professor Rachida Triki, Galleries Director Jade Yashim Turanli, and art journalist Riccarda Mandari.

The exhibition also highlights the work of artists from North Africa, Turkey and the region.

Abu Dhabi Art is witnessing the return of 45 galleries, and the participation of 33 new galleries, which reflects the growing confidence of the global artistic community in the region, and its ability to recover quickly during the post-pandemic period.

Based on its commitment to cooperate with the most prominent technical cadres to present its annual program, Abu Dhabi Art invited art historian Rashida Al-Tariki to carry out the tasks of artistic curator for the "Spaces" section, under the slogan "A New Tomorrow".

He also invited Jayed Yasim Turanli and art journalist Riccarda Mandari to carry out the duties of the two curators of the exhibition, and to select new galleries to participate in its activities.

Diala Nusseibeh, Director of Abu Dhabi Art, said: "Since its launch in 2007, the exhibition has continued its pivotal and pioneering role in advancing the art scene in the UAE in general, and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in particular, in addition to consolidating their position as a leading regional destination for art lovers and enthusiasts from the region and the world."

She added, "We are reaping the fruits of years of success and hard work, by contributing to promoting the growth of the cultural and creative industries in the UAE, in conjunction with nurturing local talent.
