“They lived happily and had many children”, this sentence, read and heard many times at the end of the fairy tales seems to shape our vision of the couple in reality.

Advertising

A hassle-free, lifelong relationship is still the imagined ideal for many.

And in the age of social networks, the number of photos of happy couples, engagement rings and #couplegoals ("couple goals") further accentuates the idea that the couple must necessarily be perfect.

However, if the couple can be fulfilling, the relationship is not necessarily easy every day.

Faced with everyday life, the arrival of children, the decline of desire, ... perfection is quickly confronted with reality.
