About fifteen vehicles of Vinci Autoroutes agents have been on display since July 1 in a parking lot near the A10 tollbooth in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines (Yvelines).

The vans all have the particularity of having been hit by a car while employees were intervening, explains Actu 78. By showing them to the public, the company hopes to make an impression.

This exhibition was imagined as part of the prevention campaign

When are you going to hit?

de Vinci Highways.

The company reports that, on average, one of its vehicles is involved in a collision each week.

Five patrol officers died in this type of accident between 2011 and 2020.

A crucial security corridor

The year 2022 has proven to be particularly terrible since four employees have died on the roads and highways of France since January 1.

Among the messages conveyed by the campaign is the need to redouble our attention and form a safety corridor in the event of intervention by road agents, leaving a clear path around their vehicle.
