During the last period, the world's attention turned towards the Arab Gulf countries, in order for Saudi Arabia to host the Jeddah Summit for Security and Development, which was attended by US President Joe Biden, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and Egypt, Jordan and Iraq, and the truth must be said: The attention turned towards our countries Months before the visit, especially with the rise in global oil prices, and global anticipation for the results of the US President’s visit, and his attempt to increase oil production in our countries, but his attempt did not succeed because our countries are committed to the contracts and obligations of “OPEC” and “OPEC Plus”, and after all that was raised about the visit and the results of the visit. The closing statement, who is the big winner?!

In my view, our Gulf countries are the biggest winner in this American political attempt. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has stated that there is no plan to increase oil production, and this is what the UAE has stated before. In this file we work with international partners and global producers, we have agreements with them. We are committed to the principle of supply and demand and the global need for oil, and this matter is not dependent on any political considerations, and the US President’s attempt to alleviate the inflation taking place in America and the popular anger there, cannot be resolved by such a visit, especially since it did not carry any clear agreements, but rather came to confirm the position of Our countries as an indispensable partner globally.

What we witnessed of cohesion, fraternity, brotherly relations and friendship between the leaders of our Gulf and Arab countries, especially after clips and pictures of laughter, jokes and spontaneous behavior were circulated among them, confirms the strength of the relationship between our countries and our peoples, and this point in particular I find one of the best achievements of the summit. On the heart of one man, and that what unites them of friendship and fraternal relationship is what binds us and unites us as peoples and societies, and although their actions came spontaneously and far from protocol arrangements, but they came in their time and place, in their time to send to the world while he directs his eyes towards us that we are coherent with our issues and our decisions The joint, and in its place, due to the gathering of all in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we find in it the Big Brother, given its distinguished position among all.

Among the benefits of the summit, I find that focusing on the influence of our countries in the global energy sector is an important matter that earns us as countries an economic power and a soft power, giving us the impetus for the future development we want, and also through the words delivered by the leaders at this summit, and through the final statement, we as Gulf countries We are still committed to openness to the world and peaceful coexistence with everyone, and we affirm once again that we are sponsors of peace, and that our societies and countries are the ideal image of coexistence and community peace, especially as they achieve advanced positions in security and safety.

Our countries and societies are undoubtedly the biggest winners from this summit, and the repercussions of this summit will continue for years, especially as our countries affirm day after day that partnership with them in all aspects is mutually beneficial. Kindness to us and our peoples is not arrogance, but rather a legitimate right to recognize the extent of our strength and influence, and to ask everyone to treat us reciprocally, and the Jeddah Summit was the best evidence.
