After 5 am on the 20th, the fire department was notified that smoke was coming from a two-story wooden house in Higashiogu, Arakawa-ku.



The Tokyo Fire Department has put out 21 fire fighting vehicles to extinguish the fire, but the fire has not been extinguished as of 7:00 am.



Two men and women were rescued and taken to the hospital in the fire, but both were unconscious.



According to the Metropolitan Police Department, a man in his 70s and a woman with a common-law wife in his 50s live in this house, so the Metropolitan Police Department and others are checking the cause of the fire.



The site is a residential area about 400 meters south of Kumanomae Station on the Nippori-Toneri Liner.
