On July 18, two snow leopard cubs found and rescued during their daily field patrols in Sitongda Township, Ganzi County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, returned to their mother leopard successfully.

Recently, during field patrols by ecological forest rangers in Sitongda Township, Ganzi County, two snow leopard cubs, only about 2 months old, were found on the local Nailong Mountain.

After receiving the report, the Ganzi County Forestry and Grass Bureau dispatched staff from the Wildlife Conservation Section to the scene to deal with it.

The staff confirmed on the spot that the two wild animals were snow leopard cubs, which were first-class national protected animals.

It was initially suspected that the two snow leopard cubs went for a walk and got lost with the mother leopard.

The two snow leopard cubs were not injured, but the snow leopard cubs were in poor mental state due to starvation.

The wildlife conservation staff and rangers of the Forestry and Grass Bureau fed the cubs and searched for traces of the mother leopard. They successfully found the cave where the mother leopard lived. The staff quickly returned the two cubs to the mother leopard.
