Why did Switzerland reject NATO’s request (as we are told by the media) and will not treat not only the Ukrainian military, but also civilians, referring to the fact that the country will not be able to distinguish civilians from soldiers, given that “many civilians in Ukraine are taken for arms to defend your country"?

I think that the point is not at all in the neutrality referred to by the authorities of the country.

Everything is much more interesting: Switzerland still values the remnants of its reputation and is not ready to gloss over itself by providing services to the Nazis and war criminals, decorated with swastika tattoos and having a history of a number of crimes.

The fact that the West hypocritically declares that “there is no Nazism in Ukraine” and that Ukrainian servicemen “are not at war with the civilian population” does not mean at all that it really thinks so.

The same Europe knows very well how things really are, what the so-called national battalions are like and what is happening in the war zone in the territories occupied by Ukraine.

Yes, it is very beneficial for European leaders to portray deaf-blind people performing the "woodpecker aria" on the theme "Russia attacked Ukraine."

But in fact, they have a clear understanding of how things really are.

And the same Switzerland least of all wants to receive an accusation that it hosted those who were covered from head to toe in powdered stains of someone else's blood, and provided them with medical services.

Not because this country is so scrupulous and sensitive to the suffering of the inhabitants of Donbass.

Not at all.

Just reputation.

And an attempt to preserve the remnants of that notorious neutrality, which for many Western countries is an unaffordable luxury.

But in Ukraine, the concept of "reputation" has long become rudimentary.

Therefore, the anger of Ukrainians on this occasion knows no bounds.

A cursory monitoring of the Ukrainian segment of social networks clearly demonstrates how much the inhabitants of this country have become accustomed to the role of a victim, to which everyone owes, and how quickly they can start biting the hand with which until recently they obsequiously fed and kissed slavishly.

Now Switzerland owes them, period.

Otherwise, Putin will attack.

The statements of the Ukrainians are so harsh and peremptory that even the Swiss themselves are already showing irritation, hinting that it is stupid and futile to reject all proposals for negotiations and insist on continuing the war, provided that your country simply cannot heal its soldiers on its own.

But Ukraine, as usual, has already bitten the bit and passionately and to the point of exhaustion proves that Switzerland not only has to, but is obliged to help her.

Otherwise, they will not only cross this country off the list of their friends, but they will also complain.

In "Sportloto", probably.

Or the World League for Sexual Reform.

For example, a typical comment from a Ukrainian on a given topic: “The Swiss government’s fanatical interpretation of neutrality is detrimental to Switzerland’s national interests, their behavior is deeply immoral.”

And Switzerland is also called a cold, heartless and disgusting country that demonstrates brazen indifference to both European unity and the suffering of Ukrainians.

Of course, this is all pretty funny.

Including because it is stupid to demand sincerity from a bank cell.

But Ukraine, due to its arrogance and mentality, does not understand this.

This means that in the near future Switzerland will learn a lot more new and interesting things about itself.

Which, in general, is very good.

After all, it's time for at least someone to finally understand with whom they have to deal, and to know all the facets of Ukrainian ingratitude, about which legends can already be composed.
