China News Service Client, Beijing, July 19 (Reporter Shangguan Yun) In July this year, a reality drama "Happiness to Ten Thousand Homes" became popular, and related topics have been on the hot search for many times after the broadcast.

In this play, the famous actor Liu Wei plays Wan Shantang, the village party secretary of Wanjiazhuang, and the character image finally presented has been recognized by many audiences.

This is a character with a complex personality, kind and responsible, but sometimes his working methods are a bit simple.

Liu Wei said that about 20 years ago, he had seen a person who was very similar to Wanshantang.

It's just that Wan Shantang in the play will use different methods, different tones, and even different rhythms to deal with the opponents he communicates with, and there will be some differences in handling.

Today's Liu Wei, with his superb acting skills, has become an "old drama bone" in the eyes of many audiences.

But in fact, his acting career has been somewhat tortuous: "I studied cross talk before, and after speaking about cross talk for seven and a half years, I went to the university."

He cherishes the hard-won opportunity, and his hard work has finally paid off.

Later, in the TV series "Tang Minghuang", he portrayed the ups and downs of Li Longji's life in great detail, and finally won the "China TV Golden Eagle Award for Best Actor".

Since his debut, his play has expanded very widely, and he has played many roles such as emperor, soldier, peasant, etc., all of which have left a deep impression on people, and even acted in sitcoms - in "I Love My Family", Liu Wei played the eloquent "Mr. Meng".

In life, Liu Wei is willing to chat with family members, friends, and children. Over time, this habit has continued into the crew: "I like that everyone can discuss more scripts and express more opinions. I think the most important thing in acting is communication. None of them can communicate well, and they won't be a good actor."

The same is true when filming "Happiness to Ten Thousand Homes".

Liu Wei said that Tang Zeng, who played Wang Qinglai, was very familiar with him when he filmed "Educational Youth".

In comparison, I have played a lot with Zhao Liying, who plays He Xingfu. "Xiao Zhao is a very humble actor, and he has never been self-righteous. We often discuss together during filming, and we are very happy to work together."

After decades of filming, Liu Wei has his own experience. "Actually, a qualified actor is also very simple. Although it is simple, it is difficult to achieve: it is just two words 'dedication'."

The following is an excerpt of the interview:

Chinanews.com: You play Wan Shantang in "Happiness to Ten Thousand Homes". What kind of person is he?

Liu Wei:

First of all, I think Wanshantang is a good person, but due to his personality and educational level, there are many things that he cannot change in his understanding of family and work.

Wanshantang is very individual and a practical person with a relatively simple working method.

He is not a perfect father, but he "hates iron is not steel" for his son. He has always wanted to train the heirloom to be a better person than him. However, due to the death of the heirloom mother at an early age and other reasons, Wanshantang became a father again. Being a mother and unable to take care of the whole family, his feelings towards his son are still relatively complicated.

Chinanews.com: Many viewers use "truth" to evaluate the show.

Combined with the role of Wanshantang, where do you think this authenticity is reflected?

Liu Wei:

Let’s go back to the details of life. For a character like Wan Shantang, we need to find a model of life or restore the so-called real appearance to him.

I have been in contact with people like this character. At that time, I was filming in Xi'an. When I was communicating with him and experiencing life, he would not let me speak Mandarin. Try to speak in his language as much as possible.

Fortunately, I can speak a little Shaanxi dialect, and communicate with him relatively smoothly. I can also see and write down some things reflected in Wanshantang from his body. Gives a special feeling of wanting to curse.

Chinanews.com: In the sitcom "I Love My Family", you played Mr. Meng. How did you play this role?

Liu Wei:

Yingda invited me to the show "I Love My Home". In his words, all the actors in "I Love My Home" are called "guest stars" (guests' guests), and I am the first An actor who came to "I Love My Home" to play, or the first "guest star".

Mr. Meng's character's language logic and character relationships are vividly written. At that time, we seemed to be over after one shot. Yingda even joked with me: "Why don't you make a mistake? If you make a mistake, there will be some tidbits."

Therefore, a well-written character can help the actor a lot.

China News Service: You have created the images of Lao Wei, Tang Minghuang and other characters. How do you feel in retrospect?

Liu Wei:

I have played a lot of characters, some of which the audience likes, such as Lao Wei, Tang Minghuang, and even Sun Yuhou from a few years ago. I think actors should be like this. My wish is to create more people with different images. Rather than one type sticking forever.

Human abilities are still limited, so we need to create more roles in different industries, different ages, different occupations, and different experiences, and at the same time, it is also an exercise for the skills of actors.

Chinanews.com: In your acting career, are there any unforgettable things you can share with everyone?

Liu Wei:

Acting is different now than before.

I have been acting for so many years. To be honest, I used to fight for my life. (Actor) is a profession that we really need to use our confidence, determination and life to engage in.

For example, I have also suffered a lot of injuries, and some bridges may even cost my life. Fortunately, my life is relatively large, and I have made it through.

But when I get older, I do have a lot of injuries from filming, which will bring some trouble to my current life.

I think not just actors, but any profession or industry, if there are such people, such ideas, and such pursuits, every industry can do well.

Chinanews.com: In your opinion, what makes a qualified actor?

Liu Wei:

In fact, a qualified actor is also very simple. Although it is simple, it is difficult to achieve: it is just two words "dedication".

Or called the spirit of the contract, whether it is to approve the contract you signed or accept the script, you must use your full ability and energy to do it well.

In this way, it is worthy of itself, investors, co-actors, and more importantly, the audience.

It's priceless for the audience to take the time to see you and make it worth it.

Chinanews.com: What are your expectations for your future work and life?

Liu Wei: In

the future, I still hope to make some good roles.

Because actors are ambitious and have good wishes, they hope to leave a few good and impressive roles for themselves, the society, and the audience in their acting careers.

Although he is old, he still has to work hard to pursue it and make good achievements in the performance industry.
