Jennifer Lopez indeed took advantage of her last newsletter to reveal to her fans behind the scenes of their union in the City of Sin, starting with a title that says it all: “We did it”.
What they did, therefore, was to say "yes" to each other in the Little White Chapel, a small establishment that allows you to get married in an express way in Las Vegas, after having obtained a marriage license from the authorities.
And that's exactly what happened.

Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same trip to the marriage capital of the world… We all wanted the same thing – to be recognized by the world as partners and declares our love to all through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage,” she wrote.
Almost like the others
If they married almost like any other couple, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, however, had the privilege of seeing the Little White Chapel open later than expected, just for them.
On the other hand, they preferred not to use an Elvis look-alike to help them exchange their wedding rings.
"With the best witnesses imaginable, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben's closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave each other the rings we'll wear for the rest of our life.
They even had Bluetooth for a (short) walk down the aisle.
But in the end, it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined.
A wedding we dreamed of a long time ago that came true (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and each other) in the end,” added the star.
This is therefore the fourth marriage for Jennifer Lopez, who has already been the wife of Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, then Marc Anthony, the father of her twins.
She was engaged to Alex Rodriguez but their marriage was called off a few weeks before she got back together with Ben Affleck.
The actor, for his part, was married only once, with Jennifer Garner, from whom he officially divorced in 2018 and with whom he has three children.
