Our children are preparing to enroll in universities these days and they are about to make fateful decisions in their lives and the lives of those around them, but I find that a very small percentage of students know exactly what they want and the vast majority are in great confusion. Parents and friends’ advice, and of course everyone advises from his personal perspective and not from the perspective of the labor market and future needs. Some parents try to help with guidance and direction, and some parents insist that their children study a certain specialty.

What are the best disciplines for our children, especially if the children have not decided for themselves what they want?

Attitudes are the most difficult aspect, as they are related to personality traits, such as the person being always positive, cooperative, helping others, and has a positive orientation and a constant desire to learn, unlike the pessimists who complain about anything and everything, and always see only the dark side.

He sees him holding a prestigious academic degree and insisting that he will not get a job because he does not have a “wasta” and so on.

Another important factor that contributes greatly to obtaining excellent opportunities is the language factor. I know many people in specialties that are considered rare and have a demand in many countries, but because of their inability to speak the language, they do not get the opportunities they deserve. I know marine navigators and laboratory technicians who have prestigious degrees, Although their studies are supposed to be in English, the faculty and students “make it easy” to study in Arabic, but after graduation they realize the opportunity they missed in not studying in English and mastering this language. I am not biased towards a particular language, but whoever wants to join the international labor market He must master his language.

In general, there will still be a great demand for health professions, especially nursing professions and medical devices, and there is a great demand for data engineers and all specializations of data, information security, and digital marketing. Children are also in great demand, and those who search on the Internet for the job market will find lists of in-demand occupations.

The labor market is not limited to the local market, but the world has become more open, and getting a job in any country is not difficult.
