[Explanation] Nine years ago, Vietnamese youth Ruan Ding and "Beijing Drift" pursued their dreams in China.

Today, Ruan Tinghe is living the life of his dreams by marrying a wife and having children, buying a house and working in China.

Recently, the reporter approached Ruan Tinghe and listened to him tell about his "no love" with China.

  [Explanation] In 2013, Ruan Tinghe came to China to study alone.

After 6 years of hard work, he successfully graduated from Southwest University in China with a master's degree and a doctorate.

Ruan Tinghe said that he grew up watching Chinese TV dramas since he was a child.

  I have been chasing dramas since I was a child, and then I liked Chinese TV dramas, such as Journey to the West, Dream of Red Mansions, Huanzhugege, Bao Qingtian, and Water Margin.

These well-known TV series were basically broadcast many times on our Vietnamese TV station, and then when I was a child, I especially liked to watch it and watched it repeatedly.

  [Commentary] From the stumbling expression in Chinese to the ease of communication later, the progress made by this "foreign student" is enough to prove his sincere love for Chinese language and Chinese culture.

In recent years, Ruan Dinh Hoa has appeared in various Sino-Vietnamese economic and trade forums, cultural exchanges and other activities many times in the incarnation of "translator", and has personally promoted the economic, trade and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

  [Explanation] China's e-commerce is developed and can be called an "online shopping paradise".

On the first day of studying in China, Ruan Tinghe learned to "Taobao" online.

Ruan Tinghe said that China's online shopping is inexpensive, convenient for payment, fast in logistics, and has a good experience.

He looked forward to promoting economic and trade prosperity between China and Vietnam through e-commerce exchanges in the future.

  Shopping online is very convenient, much more convenient than going to traditional markets, and the price is also favorable, which saves time and trouble.

I used to bring some local specialties back to my family to taste when I was in Chongqing.

  [Explanation] Ruan Tinghe met his love while studying at Southwest University.

He and the Chinese girl Wei Yu fell in love at first sight, and the two talked about their ideals in life, and soon fell in love and finally tied the knot.

Now, the husband and wife have settled in Nanning and have a daughter, living a happy life.

During his nine years in China, Ruan Tinghe witnessed the rapid development of the city.

This strengthened his determination to stay in China for development.

In 2020, after graduating with a Ph.D., Ruan Dinghe was hired to teach at Nanning Normal University, teaching Vietnamese.

  When we miss home, we don't go out to eat Vietnamese food, we cook it ourselves, because in the restaurant outside, we don't have the feeling of cooking together with friends, cooking together and eating together.

And sometimes a drink, so we feel happy, much better than going out to a restaurant.

  [Explanation] Ruan Tinghe said that now, Nanning has become his "second hometown".

He also did as the locals do, and fell in love with noodles and soup.

Under the epidemic, exchanges between China and Vietnam have been hindered to varying degrees. Ruan Dinh Hoa looks forward to writing a new chapter in the friendship between the two countries after the epidemic.

  Because I am in the education industry and as a teacher, I most hope that international students from both countries can resume (exchange), Vietnamese students can study in China, and Chinese students can study in Vietnam. This is also the expectation of many students.
