"Hotline" adopts 27 community initiatives worth 261 million dirhams over 12 years

"Emirates Today", through the "hotline", adopted 27 community initiatives at the state level during 12 years, worth 261 million and 36 thousand and 697 dirhams, provided by donors, associations and charitable organizations, benefiting 3,425 people and 10 institutions.

Societal initiatives for releasing insolvent prisoners and helping their families came first through seven initiatives worth 104,266,697 dirhams, benefiting 2,395 prisoners.

Societal initiatives in the field of treating sick conditions ranked second, distributed over five initiatives, worth 31 million and 770 thousand dirhams, and in the third place came societal initiatives in the field of education through four initiatives worth 53 million and 100 thousand dirhams, and in the fourth place came initiatives to help Emirati families from Low-income families through four initiatives benefiting 706 citizen families.

The social initiative in the field of employment came in the fifth place through three initiatives that benefited 136 citizens, and in the sixth place came two initiatives in the field of marriage, benefiting 70 citizens with a value of three million and 400 thousand dirhams, and in the seventh place came the private initiative in the field of housing with one initiative that benefited from it. 70 citizen families, with a value of 38 million and 200 thousand dirhams, and the Ramadan (Tarahum) campaign ranked eighth, with a value of 29 million and 900 thousand dirhams.

Prisoner's field

The “hotline” adopted seven initiatives in the field of releasing inmates of correctional and penal facilities who defaulted in financial cases and legitimate blood money and helping their families, including an initiative in 2011, which contributed to the release of 919 prisoners at a value of 65 million and 600 thousand dirhams, and an initiative in 2014, in cooperation with The Faraj Fund, to help 44 families of prisoners, with a value of one million and 584 thousand dirhams.

In 2019, he adopted a community initiative in cooperation with Dubai Courts under the name “Yak Al Aoun” in cooperation with Dubai Courts to pay off the debts of 107 citizens of prisoners and prosecutions at a value of 21 million and 400 thousand dirhams. 720,000 dirhams to help 613 prisoners of different nationalities, who have completed their judicial sentences, are deported outside the country, and need travel tickets to return to their countries and reunite their families. The third initiative is in cooperation with Albaddad Capital Group with the aim of helping humanitarian and sick cases, the fourth is the (Cancer Patients Fund) initiative in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority, with the aim of helping cancer patients with an amount of two million and 100,000 dirhams, and the fifth is the “Your Donation is a Life” initiative in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and health sciences, and contributed to transplanting kidneys to 38 patients, at a value of 22 million and 670 thousand dirhams.

Education Field

The "Hotline" organized four community initiatives in the field of education, in 2013 and concluded a cooperation agreement with the Dubai Autism Center to launch the "We Unite for Them" initiative and contributed to the collection of 26 million and 100 thousand dirhams to complete the construction of the Dubai Autism Center in the Emirate of Dubai. The launch of the “Integration” initiative, which contributed five million dirhams to building 30 classrooms in state schools to integrate people of determination, and in 2015 an initiative was launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, which contributed to building 122 interactive technological libraries that help students innovate in government schools, at a value of 12 One million dirhams, and in 2017, the “We Unite for Them” initiative was launched in its second season, and contributed to raising 10 million dirhams to complete and operate the Dubai Autism Center.
