A preconceived image is a stereotype or habit, that is, when a person tells you his point of view about something or another person and makes you adopt his point of view without experiencing that thing or person yourself.

A preconceived image is one of the most dangerous factors that affect our perception of things or people and blind us to the truth.

a story

A talented young man was appointed to the engineering department of a private company, and its management was headed by a woman with 20 years of experience.

I welcomed him and started with him a journey of orientation and introduction to the workplace.

Two weeks later her colleague who heads another department and had a good working relationship with her returns, and while reviewing a project, the woman told him about the new young employee.

The manager took the manager aside and told her that he knew someone at odds with this young man's family and that he should not be trusted with anything, and that it was better to get rid of him, and reminded her of a previous experience with an employee who was with him.

The manager was afraid of what she had heard and began to build barriers between her and the new young employee and began withdrawing tasks from him and assigning them to others, with the intention of pushing him to leave the company.

It's all because of a story she heard and didn't even think to check.

Three years have passed and the young man feels that he is lost in an office that has no work but parts of the tasks entrusted to him by some of his colleagues who are overwhelmed with tasks.

The young man felt that he never learned anything and thought of going out, but he decided to be patient because this (software engineering) is his specialty.

At the end of a working day, the manager came out of her office and had an accident as soon as she entered the street because she was not sure that it was empty.

The airbag exploded in her face and she had a panic attack.

The young employee happened to be out of work at the same time and saw what had happened.

He rushed to her and calmed her down and called for an ambulance and stayed with her until the police car came to plan the accident and spoke to the police patrol on her behalf because she was in a state of shock and dismay and could not find the words to describe what had happened.

This is not an Indian movie but rather a story that happened in Dubai in the last decade and was told by this same young man.

The continuation of the story is not a romantic ending but rather the young man's exit from the company after receiving a better job offer.

But it was the manager who deeply regretted it and told him what happened and why she neglected him and withdrew the tasks from him and asked him to forgive her after she discovered his original metal.

You wouldn't know someone's metal without having an exceptional experience with them.

Don't link an event in his past to the way you acted on him, as he may not be guilty of it.

God Almighty said: “And do not bear the burden of another burden.”

People tend to do good, regardless of their race, beliefs, and color. Always show goodwill toward others, even if they show ill will toward you.

And do not worry about their bad intentions at all, and do not carry their worries, trust in God and know that there is a Creator who protects you from them as long as your intention is good and you do not intend evil to anyone.
