Egypt .. The dismissal of the head of the National Authority for Tunnels because of the paintings of the Women's College

An official source in the Egyptian Ministry of Transport revealed that Lieutenant-General, Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, decided to dismiss Major General Essam Wali, head of the National Authority for Tunnels, due to the crisis of the boards of the College of Girls metro station on the third metro line.

According to Al-Watan newspaper, the source confirmed, in statements that Major General Essam Wali, head of the National Authority for Tunnels, was informed of the decision a while ago, and the real reasons that led to his dismissal from his position, explaining that the women’s college station boards are one of those main reasons.

The National Authority for Tunnels and the company “RATP” Dave for Cairo Transport, the company responsible for operating the third Green Line, announced in a statement, several days ago, that it is closely following what is happening on social media sites and media platforms, regarding the use of Artistic designs by a Russian artist in the cultural project inside the Girls College station on the third green line.
