The heat is not done with France.
Météo-France has placed 15 departments on red alert for a heat wave and evokes "a peak of extreme heat on the western facade" of the country.
51 departments and Andorra are also on orange alert.
The heat wave should peak on Monday, said the weather institute.

The departments concerned by red vigilance are Landes, Gers, Lot et Garonne, Gironde, Dordogne, Charente Maritime, Charente, Deux Sèvres, Vendée, Loire Atlantique, Maine et Loire, Ille-et-Vilaine, Morbihan, Côtes d'Armor and Finistère.
