The death of the grandmother of the killer of Naira Ashraf, in mourning for her grandson, who was sentenced to death

Yesterday in Cairo, it was announced the death of the grandmother accused of killing the Egyptian student Naira Ashraf, a student at Mansoura University, after she was suffering from diabetes and pressure, as her health deteriorated further after her grandson was sentenced to death.

Muhammad Emara, the uncle of the accused, Muhammad Adel, explained that his mother breathed her last, and the body was buried after the funeral prayer for her in one of the village mosques, to her resting place in the family cemetery, noting that she was suffering from chronic diseases, and her health condition had recently deteriorated.

Grief for her grandson, according to the Egyptian newspaper "Al-Watan".

The Mansoura Criminal Court had sentenced the accused, Mohamed Adel, a student at the Faculty of Arts at Mansoura University, to death by hanging, in the case of the murder of his colleague, Naira Ashraf, on June 20, in front of one of the gates of Mansoura University.

For its part, Naira's family decided to receive condolences for their daughter after the accused was sentenced to death, which was held in an event hall in the city of Mahalla al-Kubra.
