On July 15, Hong Kong Citybus Co., Ltd. introduced Hong Kong's first double-decker hydrogen fuel cell bus, which is also the world's first three-axle double-decker hydrogen fuel cell bus.
The bus is designed and manufactured by Citybus and Mainland Victory (Fujian) Automobile Co., Ltd. and its team. The components mainly include hydrogen fuel cells, type 4 on-board hydrogen storage cylinders and hydrogen supply system. It is powered by "Ballard Power" and Supply by CISCO Hydrogen Energy System Co., Ltd.
The hydrogenation process of the hydrogen bus takes only 10 to 15 minutes, which can cope with the mountainous environment of Hong Kong, and can maintain a high passenger capacity and continue to use the air conditioning system for a long time.
