A tragic incident in Egypt... a high school student committed suicide because of a physics exam

In a tragic incident, an Egyptian student in the second grade of secondary school took her life by throwing herself from the fourth floor of a building in Assiut, south of Cairo, as a result of her failure to answer the questions of the second round exams, according to police investigations.

According to Sky News Arabia, Muhammad Abu Bakir, owner of a juice shop, in the Majzoub area, west of the city of Assiut, said: "We were surprised that a girl fell from the fourth floor of a real estate on the street, and she was wearing a school uniform for high school students."

He added that "by examining the matter, it was found that the girl died immediately after she fell, so the police were informed, who came to take the necessary measures."

While a security source revealed that the girl had just left the second round of physics exams for the second grade of secondary school, and by calling her family and colleagues, they confirmed that she was crying after leaving the exam committee because of her inability to answer the test questions, which suggests that her suicide came for this reason.

The security source added that the Public Prosecution was notified, which decided to transfer the student's body to the morgue and investigated the circumstances of her death.

It should be noted that the Assiut governorate witnessed on Saturday morning a girl attempting to commit suicide by throwing herself in the Ibrahimiya Canal, but the people succeeded in saving her and she was taken to the hospital for treatment, and the prosecution was notified to investigate the incident.
