At 12:38 on July 14, when the temperature was at its highest, the 119 Command Center of the Fire and Rescue Detachment in Luzhou City, Sichuan received an alarm that an electric worker who was rushing to repair outside the Baiti Farmers Market in Naxi District of the city was under high temperature. Heatstroke occurred during emergency power repair operations, and workers were trapped on utility poles and could not escape on their own.

After receiving the alarm, the 119 command center quickly mobilized 4 firefighters to the scene to carry out rescue and disposal.

At this time, the workers climbed the poles with water and towels, and took simple measures to reduce the heat for the trapped people to prevent the workers' health from further deteriorating.

After arriving at the scene, the firefighters confirmed that the power pole was out of power, and quickly used a ladder truck to send a firefighter to the place where the man was trapped.

After more than 10 minutes of hard work, the electric worker who was trapped in heat stroke was successfully rescued, and the medical staff waiting on the side quickly carried out on-site treatment.

At present, the electric workers trapped in heat stroke are no longer in serious trouble.
