Twitter returns to work after a temporary glitch

Twitter experienced a temporary glitch, Thursday, with users experiencing the inability to browse tweets on the site and the app at the same time for about an hour.

The fault occurred between eight and nine in the morning US time.

Downdetector, a website that tracks the status of websites, has recorded thousands of reports of a major Twitter outage, according to The Verge.

Logging into the service was not possible as error messages were displayed that prevented the user from continuing.

But an hour after the glitch, the service was back to normal.

The cause of this defect is not yet known, and the company has not commented on the issue.

This is the first time that the site has experienced problems since last February, when it stopped working twice in one week.

It is noteworthy that the American billionaire Elon Musk had agreed to buy the site recently, before he retracted his offer due to information he considered "inaccurate" about the fake accounts in Twitter.

This prompted the Twitter operator to threaten to sue Musk to force him to return to the acquisition deal.
