[Explanation] Recently, the Hebei Provincial Regional Geological Survey found the dinosaur footprint fossil group in Xuanhua District, Zhangjiakou City, which has attracted the attention of all walks of life.

This dinosaur footprint fossil site is located on a hillside 4 kilometers south of Lishi Village, Naocun Town, Xuanhua District, covering an area of about 9,100 square meters.

After counting and calculation, there are more than 4,300 dinosaur footprints at the scene. Some of these footprints are approximately circular, and some are similar to the shape of animal claws.

Through the identification and classification of traces, experts have determined that there are 4 genera and 4 species of dinosaur footprints, and 1 new species of dinosaur footprints has been discovered.

Geological surveyors have determined the age of the stratum on the spot and showed that the rock layer where the dinosaur footprints are located is 150 million years old.

I have been studying dinosaur footprints, so when I came to (here) to see that there is such a large area, and such dense dinosaur footprint fossils are preserved here, even with a lot of silicides, I am shocked. We have to pass If we continue to study, we may also discover some new dinosaur phenomena that were not recognized before in the paleontological world.

[Explanation] Xing Lida, an associate professor at China University of Geosciences, said that the formation conditions of dinosaur footprint fossils are very harsh.

These intact dinosaur footprint fossils fill in the "blank area" of the two Mesozoic biomes of "Yanliao" and "Jehe" in Hebei Province. They are extremely important for studying the correlation between the two biomes and other scientific issues value.

According to our research and analysis, this area was probably at the turn of the Jurassic and Cretaceous, and it must have been an area with lush water plants and dense vegetation.

Then it attracted a lot of herbivorous dinosaurs, herbivorous dinosaurs, and here we probably found three different (dinosaur footprints) size ranges.

(Here) is a very valuable, non-renewable and important scientific research and popular science resource.

[Explanation] The reporter learned that in order to better protect the dinosaur footprint fossils from damage, in accordance with the requirements of relevant departments and experts, local temporary protection measures were taken to cover the dinosaur footprint fossil sites with soil.
