A donor has paid 37,829 dirhams in arrears of tuition fees for the five children of "Abu Hail", so that they can continue their education.

He coordinated the "hotline" between the donor and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, to transfer the donation amount to the account of the school where the children of "Abu Hail" study.

On the 12th of this month, "Emirates Today" published the story of (Abu Hail - Yemeni), who was exposed to difficult circumstances that made him unable to pay 37,829 dirhams, the school arrears for the past year, for his five children (Nada, Suhail, Huda, Mona, and Maryam). The school administration prevented them from obtaining the results of the end-of-school year exams, and stipulated that the school arrears be paid to register them for the next academic year.

Abu Suhail had previously told the story of his suffering to "Emirates Today", saying that he has been working in the country for 35 years, with a salary of 10,000 dirhams, and his financial situation was stable, and he did not complain of any difficulties and obstacles during the past years, but was saving a small part of his salary, The rest he spends on providing housing, food, drink and tuition fees for his children.

He added that over the past years, he was able, in cooperation with his wife, to arrange the family's priorities, and follow up their children in their academic journey, until they became among the outstanding students in the school, and obtained the highest grades in their classes.

Abu Hail added that in 2019, the expenses and burdens on him increased and he began to spend what he had previously saved, and over time, debts, school arrears and financial obligations accumulated on him, which made him borrow a sum of money from the bank to pay the children’s study fees and the rent of the house in which he lives with members of his family. In Dubai, however, borrowing was not an appropriate solution to achieve a decent life for his family, and the situation began to get more complicated than before, after the bank deducted about half of his salary and left with only a portion that was barely enough for food and drink and to pay the rent of the house.

He added that his financial affairs became so complicated that he had to knock on the doors of goodness in the country to extend a helping hand and help him solve his problem.

He continued that during the current year, the school administration told him that his children (Nada - 17 years old) are in the 12th grade, (Suhail - 15 years) in the 11th grade, (Huda - 10 years) in the fifth grade, and (Mona - 8 years old). In the third grade, and (Maryam - 7 years old) in the first grade, they were denied the results of the final exams and they were not reserved for a study seat for the new academic year, due to the presence of academic arrears in the amount of 37,829 dirhams, which threatened to lose an academic year. They are complete, despite their diligence and academic excellence.

(Abushail) stated that Nada finished the 12th grade and needed her certificate to apply to a college, and he was unable to pay the tuition fees.

Happy News

(Abushail) said, “The news of the donation made me very happy and made my wife and children happy,” pointing out that this donation is not strange for the people of the state and its institutions, who are known for their solidarity and solidarity with everyone in need, without discrimination, especially the sick and people who are unable to pay tuition fees, and whose circumstances prevent that.” .

The school administration denied the five siblings the results of the end-of-year exams.
