Urgent Egyptian action after a Saudi woman shot an Egyptian pharmacist

The judicial guard of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Egypt, Mohamed Fikri, announced that it moved urgently to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to find out the circumstances of the killing of pharmacist Ahmed Hatem by a Saudi woman who was shot dead while he was working.

He explained that the union, as soon as it became aware of the incident, contacted Dr. Karim Badr Helmy, a member of the tripartite committee to manage the works of the Pharmacists Syndicate, a member of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Health Affairs Committee of the Council, in order to communicate with the Egyptian Foreign Ministry to find out the details of the circumstances of the accident.

The judicial guard of the Pharmacists Syndicate added that the Syndicate is working in coordination with the Menoufia Pharmacists Syndicate to follow up on the arrival of the body to the homeland.

In the same context, a source confirmed that Ambassador Tariq Al-Melehi, Consul General in Riyadh, immediately dispatched the representative of the consulate in Sakaka Al-Kouf to follow up on the investigation procedures with the Saudi accused who shot the Egyptian, which led to his death.
