On the afternoon of the 13th, a passenger car and a large truck collided head-on on a national road in Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture, killing two women in their 60s and leaving one woman unconscious. In addition, one man who was driving was injured and is being treated at the hospital.


The heavy truck driver was not injured and police are investigating the details of the accident.

At around 2:40 pm on the 13th, a passenger car ran off the Chuo Line and collided head-on with a large truck on National Highway 372 in Kamimikusa, Kato City.



According to police, two women in their 60s sitting in the passenger and back seats of a passenger car died in the hospital at the destination hospital.



In addition, a woman in her 50s sitting in the back seat of a passenger car is also unconscious, and a 63-year-old man who was driving was injured and is being treated at the hospital.



It means that the driver of a heavy truck is not injured.



The site is a straight road with good visibility of one lane on each side with paddy fields spreading around, and police are investigating the detailed situation of the accident such as the cause of the passenger car protruding into the opposite lane.
