The arrest of a young man who brutally stabbed a Kuwaiti citizen and his wife in the street in Salmiya
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced today that the criminal security sector, in cooperation with the public security sector, managed to arrest the suspect in stabbing a citizen and his wife in the Salmiya area.
The ministry said in a statement: "Through a search of the accused, tools used in the use of narcotic drugs were found in his possession, and a case called (stabbing and attempted murder) was registered in Salmiya felonies."
A young man had stabbed the citizen and his wife in the public street in the Salmiya area on Sunday, after he tried to harass the wife, as a verbal altercation took place between the accused and the citizen, after which the offender took out a sharp knife "knife" from his clothes and stabbed them.
The citizen and his wife were taken to the hospital for treatment, and their condition was described as stable and not cause for concern.
A security source had said that the detectives had obtained preliminary information about the identity of the accused, indicating that the husband had provided them with some information and data about the fugitive suspect.
The pioneers of social networking sites shared the video of the incident, which spread widely because of the ugliness and brutality of the attack.
