People were trapped and road communications were cut off.

  In the early morning of the same day, affected by heavy rainfall and other factors, a flash flood broke out in Muzuo Tibetan Township, Pingwu County, and some roadbeds were washed away and communication was interrupted. Among them, the G247 National Highway K990+100 meters, K960+500 meters of highway traffic was interrupted.

  After the disaster, the Sichuan Fire Rescue Corps dispatched 12 people, 2 vehicles and 1 boat to the Jiulong Road Fire Station in Pingwu County to rescue.

At the same time, a total of 32 people, 6 vehicles and 1 boat were dispatched from 3 fire stations, and the rescue force successfully rescued 31 trapped people in Heping Village.

  It is understood that 50 people in the Heishuigou group of Heping Village were trapped (the phone could not be contacted), and 34 people in the Hekou group were trapped (the phone could not be reached). A large number of rescue forces are on their way to the scene.

  Distribution of resident population in Muzuo Tibetan Township: Minzu Village has 450 people, Xinyi Village has 776 people, and Heping Village has 446 people.

  According to the situation on the scene, the Sichuan Provincial Fire Rescue Corps has ordered 60 firefighters from Mianyang to stand by in front of Jiangyou County, and 80 professional rescue teams from Guangyuan and Deyang waters have assembled on standby.

At the same time, reinforcements have arrived in Muzuo Township and are using ropes to rescue the three people trapped on the roof.

  At present, the specific disaster situation is being verified locally, and the rescue and transfer of the trapped people is proceeding in an orderly manner.
