  From 7:00 on July 11 to 10:00 on July 11, continuous precipitation occurred in Luliang City, the largest in Liulin County, with a rainfall of 35.3 mm.

It is reported that the Liulin County Meteorological Observatory changed to issue an orange rainstorm warning signal on the 11th, and the warning area was all townships.

  At present, some townships in Liulin County have experienced more than 50 mm of rainfall, and it is expected that the rainfall in some areas in the warning area will still reach more than 50 mm in the next 3 hours.

According to local people, the precipitation caused the dry river in the county to be submerged by rolling floods.

  It is reported that this round of heavy precipitation in Shanxi is divided into two stages.

From day to night on the 11th, there were moderate to heavy rains in most areas south of Shuozhou, heavy rains in some areas, and local heavy rains (100 mm to 120 mm).

From the night of the 12th to the daytime of the 13th, there were moderate to heavy rains in Taiyuan and the south, heavy rains in some areas, and local heavy rains (100 mm to 150 mm).

During the precipitation period, there will be strong convective weather such as short-term heavy precipitation, thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail. The maximum hourly rain intensity is 40 mm to 60 mm.

  At present, Shanxi has launched a level IV emergency response to heavy rain.
