Hamid Al-Shaeri: My mother is Egyptian and left Libya because of the decision to burn musical instruments (video)

Hamid Al-Shaeri said that he left Libya at the end of the seventies due to the decision to burn musical instruments because they were considered Western instruments, and then went to study aviation in London, and completed his studies in Egypt.

Hamid Al-Shaeri indicated that his mother is of Egyptian nationality, while his father is Libyan, and he also obtained Egyptian nationality since 2006, saying: Egypt has given me a lot, and my grocer has lived there for 19 years.

As for his relationship with the artist Amr Diab, Hamid Al Shaeri continued: "I distributed 8 albums with him, including the song Awdouni, Our Shawqna, Takhafeesh and Nour Al-Ain.

Hamid Al-Shaeri recently held a party in the Marrakesh Tent in Hyde Park in New Cairo, with the artist Ihab Tawfik and Hisham Abbas, in the midst of a large audience, and they allocated a percentage of the concert’s profits for the benefit of the new Magdi Yacoub Hospital for heart patients, sending a letter of thanks to Dr. Magdi Yacoub for his efforts with Pediatric heart patients, asking the public to support the hospital.
