Parents of students enrolled in CP class at the start of the 2022 school year in a primary school in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis) will not have to pay a single euro for their child's canteen.
The city has indeed voted this Thursday the free school catering for students of this level.

The free school canteen is a campaign promise of the PS mayor of Saint-Denis, Mathieu Hanotin.
However, the measure is being applied gradually.
The municipal team also intends to extend it to additional classes year after year.
The objective is to eventually offer free meals to all children attending kindergarten and primary school.
On its Twitter account, the city made the promise this Thursday "by the end of the mandate".
The mayor notably justified the measure by "the crisis we are currently experiencing on raw materials".
