On July 8th, the China Canyon Bridge (Baling River) Research and Practice Education Base (hereinafter referred to as the base) located in Guanling County, Anshun, Guizhou welcomed the first batch of large-scale students after the upgrade.   The reporters at the scene saw that the renovated and upgraded base consists of three parts: the Baling River Guizhou Bridge Science and Technology Museum, the Baling River Bridge, and the research dormitory building.

Among them, the Bridge Science and Technology Museum is one of the main parts of the base, covering an area of ​​6,350 square meters. It is the largest bridge science and technology museum in Guizhou Province. The museum is divided into 14 exhibition (functional) areas, which are full of modern technology and bridge cultural elements. .

The Baling River Bridge, a component of the base, is one of the few super-large bridges in China that can be visited inside.

The base is planned to have a 1,940-square-meter Balinghe Research and Learning Dormitory, which can accommodate nearly 300 students at the same time.

  At the event site, the teachers introduced the representative bridges in ancient China, modern times and contemporary Guizhou to the students through an immersive and entertaining way, and focused on the major achievements and achievements of the bridges in Guizhou around the exhibition line of the Science and Technology Museum. The significance of transportation to promote the development of Guizhou.

The students climbed the Baling River Bridge through the sightseeing elevator and entered the interior of the bridge body. They learned about the reasons for the site selection of the Baling River Bridge and the technical difficulties of its construction.
