The Cadiz bullfighter Miguel de Juan, who was injured last night in the Plaza de la Maestranza

, is admitted in a "very serious" condition at the Viamed-Santa Ángela de la Cruz Hospital, according to the medical part of the center signed this Friday.
De Juan, who had appeared for the cycle by the School of Bullfighting in Seville, was
spectacularly turned against the boards by the third steer of Dolores Rufino
, whom he had received as a portagayola.

The assistance immediately transferred him to the Sevillian arena infirmary, where at first he was seen "multiple trauma with hemodynamic involvement, which responds to volume replacement and vasoconstrictors."

"suspicion of internal abdominal injury"
and indicated that he was transferred to the hospital, where he arrived in a mobile ICU.
The part, signed this Friday by Dr. Octavio Mulet, has pointed out that, after performing a CT scan, he underwent surgery and extensive hemoperitoneum was confirmed -presence of free blood in the peritoneal cavity- due to hypogastric vein injury as a result of an entry goring at the level of the anal margin, which has required "polytransfusion" and added that the bullfighter has undergone a "laparotomy with satisfactory hemostasis of vascular injury."
The part specifies that Miguel de Juan
is admitted to the ICU
for postoperative follow-up and sets his prognosis as "very serious."
