earlier this week.

On the wrong foot

Good news for fans of the group who feared that this health glitch would cause the cancellation of the residency that Aerosmith was to begin in Las Vegas this summer.

Announcing the setback, the band said in a statement, "As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has been working on his sobriety for many years.

After foot surgery to prepare for the scene and the need to manage pain during the process, he recently relapsed and voluntarily embarked on a treatment program to focus on his health and recovery.

We are devastated to have inconvenienced so many of you,

Now that Steven Tyler is once again on the road to sobriety, the group will be well and truly at the rendezvous in the city of vice starting in September.
