All this starts with the death of the sixth brother Zhanhua.
In the 1980s, Lin Zhanxi was engaged in scientific research on the cultivation of edible fungi by "replacing wood with grass", and invented the Juncao technology.
He refused to buy out patents with foreign money, and firmly used technology for poverty alleviation.
After the sixth brother Zhanhua graduated from graduate school, Gan was the right-hand man of the eldest brother, but unfortunately died in an accident on the front line of poverty alleviation.

It is also emphasized that this is a national need.
Lin Zhanxi felt a little embarrassed.
The members of the expert group have their own tasks, and the only one who can arrange them flexibly is Lin Zhansen.
But leaving my brother alone in a foreign country is really uneasy.

Therefore, Lin Zhanxi was honored by the local people as "Bird of Paradise" (the national bird on the national emblem of Papua New Guinea), and the names of him and his younger brother also became the names of local villages, rivers and streets.
What makes him and his younger brother most happy is that Juncao technology is blooming everywhere, and rice in many areas has become self-sufficient.

In 2006, Lin Zhanxi led a team to Rwanda.
Every time he went to a country, he did not forget to emphasize: "We all have the image of the country in our words and deeds, and we must be responsible for the country."
Papua New Guinea's project has gradually been on the right track in the eight years of adherence, and Lin Zhansen was transferred to Rwanda for the first time.
This dark and thin brother, he has already tempered himself into a nail in the ups and downs of foreign aid work, and nailed it wherever it is difficult.
Overcoming unimaginable difficulties, Chinese experts built a demonstration and promotion base for Juncao and upland rice planting technologies in the suburbs of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
At the Rwanda Agricultural Exhibition, China's Juncao stood out and won the award in one fell swoop.
The Rwandan people have benefited a lot from the planting technology of Juncao and dry rice, and were moved: "The Chinese government is really helping us, and the Chinese experts are doing a great job!"
After assisting his brother in completing the preliminary work, Lin Zhansen was still ordered to stay behind.
In order for the Juncao Center to start construction as scheduled and function as soon as possible, he kept going, and he didn’t take it seriously when he was tired. He was sent to the hospital until he could no longer stand up.

He clearly remembered that once, when it was raining heavily in Rwanda and the streets were empty, his brother asked the project team to put on rain boots and raincoats, and went to the nearby hillside to check the planted Juncao and take samples for testing.
In the rainstorm, raincoats were "embarrassingly useful", and everyone was drenched in coldness, but their emotions were still hot and high.
The test results show that the control effect is remarkable!
Lin Zhanxi said proudly: "This provides experience for the management of soil erosion in Rwanda, and also enlightens the ecological management along the Nile and Yellow Rivers..."
One day in late May 2010, Lin Zhanxi was exhausted from working until 2:00 pm. He had to catch a flight back to China the next day, but he still asked his younger brother to take him to the source of the Nile River.
