According to the National Medical Insurance Bureau's news on the 8th, the National Medical Insurance Bureau, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Administration of Taxation jointly issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in Basic Medical Insurance for Urban and Rural Residents in 2022".

The "Notice" requires a reasonable increase in the financing standard of resident medical insurance, and the per capita financing standard reaches 960 yuan.

  The document clarifies that in order to adapt to the increase in medical expenses and the increase in basic medical needs, and to ensure the medical insurance rights and interests of insured persons, the financing standards for basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents (hereinafter referred to as "resident medical insurance") will continue to be raised in 2022.

Finances at all levels continued to increase the subsidy for residents' medical insurance contributions. The per capita financial subsidy standard was increased by 30 yuan, reaching no less than 610 yuan per person per year, and the individual payment standard was simultaneously raised by 30 yuan, reaching 350 yuan per person per year.

  The central finance continues to implement subsidy to local governments in different grades according to regulations. The western and central regions will be subsidized according to 80% and 60% of the per capita financial subsidy standard, respectively, and the provinces in the eastern region will be subsidized according to a certain percentage.

Make overall arrangements for urban and rural residents' critical illness insurance (hereinafter referred to as "critical illness insurance") funds to ensure that funding standards and treatment levels are not lowered.

Explore the establishment of a dynamic financing mechanism linking residents' medical insurance financing standards and residents' per capita disposable income to further optimize the financing structure.

Restrictions on household registration for people with flexible employment, such as employees in new employment forms, will be lifted.

Effectively implement the "Interim Regulations on Residence Permits" policy of insurance participation with residence permits, and for those who hold residence permits to participate in local residents' medical insurance, financial subsidies at all levels shall be given according to the same standards as local residents.
