The future of the maternity hospital in Creil (Oise) is a little clearer.
The establishment had been closed following the decision of the regional health agency (ARS) in January 2019 to merge this service with that of Senlis (Oise) and to relocate the activity to the latter city.
The administrative court of Amiens (Somme) however canceled the decree issued by the health authorities on Thursday, reports
Actu Oise
.
Seized by the city of Creil and the Creil Sud Oise agglomeration community, justice relied on the regional health plan.
This provides for two maternities for the territory of Creil-Senlis.
A decisive end to the year
The court, however, gave the ARS six months to set up an organization that complied with the requirements.
During this period, the agency could choose the solution of amending the regional health plan and maintaining a single maternity unit in Senlis.
But she could also decide to review her project and reopen the Creil establishment.
