China News Service, July 7th. On July 6th, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a public announcement on the proposed designation of 12 tourist attractions as national 5A-level tourist attractions. The Yellow River Hukou Waterfall Tourist Area, the Three Gorges Waterfall Scenic Spot in Yichang City, Hubei Province, 12 tourist attractions including Baidi City and Qutangxia Scenic Spot in Fengjie County, Chongqing have reached the standard requirements of national 5A-level tourist attractions and are to be identified as national 5A-level tourist attractions.
