“50 years, 50 hours.

This is the promise made by "Le Méliès" for its anniversary weekend from Friday to Sunday.

As you will have understood, the public cinema of Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is offering a film marathon that traces the history of the last 50 years of the 7th art.

Over three evenings and two nights, spectators will be entitled to 50 hours of continuous cinema, for 3.50 euros per session.

From Hollywood with a “Nolan night” and another dedicated to the

Godfather

, to the most censorable with films prohibited for those under 18, passing through animated films or westerns.

The Méliès also looks to the future with preview films – two per evening – including

With Love and Acharement

by Claire Denis.

Vincent Lindon, in the cast of the film and president of the Cannes Film Festival 2022, will be one of the personalities present during this anniversary.
